# Record Mocap for a Style Clone

In this guide, we'll go over what dance cards you need to shoot to create your own Style Clone.

## Prerequisites

* A Motorica account, created when you first open the [Motorica app](https://app.beta.motorica.ai/).
* An enterprise license to eventually create a Style Clone with your recorded data. For more information, contact our Sales team.
* A studio and equipment for recording mocap performances.

## Get Started

For a full rundown of everything you need to know about recording motion capture for a Style Clone, read through our [Mocap Recording Guidelines](/documentation/style-cloning/reference/mocap-recording-guidelines.md) reference docs.

## Record Dance Cards

A dataset for a Style Clone requires 7 mandatory dance cards and 3 option dance cards.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.motorica.com/documentation/style-cloning/how-to-guides/record-mocap-for-a-style-clone.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
